Beneath the surface of Sonaë, a network of caverns lined with luminescent crystals whose colors change with the hours.

Everything you know is on the surface. Below, it's something else entirely.

Caverns stretch for distances no one has measured. The crystals lining the ceilings change color with the hours — amethyst at dawn, turquoise at noon, deep red when the world sleeps. Rivers flow silently through tunnels so vast that clouds form beneath the rock.

There is a cavern they call the Cathedral. Those who enter never describe it the same way. Some weep. Others laugh. All return changed.

At its center, something vibrates. A crystal. Immense. They say it attunes emotions to one another — but what happens when it falls out of tune?

Every truth is an echo. To hear it, you must first learn to be silent.
