The Eternal Peaks
Alteria · Un récit de l’univers Sam’Relaxe

Above the clouds, the world is different. The air is so thin it carries sounds for miles. A whisper spoken at the top of Wind Pass arrives intact on the other side of the valley, three hours later.
Suspended bridges connect monasteries that no one built. They were there before the first travelers. The monks who live there barely speak — they don't need to. When the mist lifts, you can glimpse all nine other realms. Some contemplate this view for days on end.
At the very top, they say, someone watches. Since forever. He descends only once a year. What he says changes the course of the year every time.
Zéphyr, The Hermit of the Peaks
The most solitary of Guardians. He lives at the World's Belvedere, descending only once a year. His power is perspective — he says almost nothing, but every word counts.
Le Cor des Cimes
Carved from a dragon bone, the wind passes through it ceaselessly, producing a sound that reminds us the peaks are watching.
The wind carries a new sound from the peaks. No one has identified it yet.
Récit de fiction issu de la bible de Sonaë.
