The Bay of Reflections
Azurel · Un récit de l’univers Sam’Relaxe

Water here does things it shouldn't be able to do. Waterfalls fall from the sky with no cliff. Rivers flow in spirals and sometimes flow upward. Islands float, carried by ascending columns of water no one can explain.
But the strangest thing is the lake. Perfectly still. Always. It doesn't reflect the sky — it reflects something else. What you see in it depends on who you are. Some stay for hours. Others flee.
This territory doesn't have one guardian. It has seven. Seven faces, seven voices, seven moods. They say each river is one of them. When all seven come together, it never lasts long. And a drop falls at the center of the lake, every seven seconds. Since forever. Except when something is about to change.
Ondine, The Fragmented One
Ondine is not one entity — she is seven. Each river has its own personality. When they manifest together, it's an unstable compromise. Speaking to Ondine means negotiating with a committee.
La Goutte Perpétuelle
A drop that falls every seven seconds at the center of the Mirror. Its rhythm has become the basis of meditative breathing.
The drop missed a beat. The lake is no longer quite still.
Récit de fiction issu de la bible de Sonaë.
