A few answers to find your bearings and enjoy Sonaë your own way.
What is Sonaë?
Sonaë is a fantasy world created by Sam’Relaxe. Its ten realms connect video ambiences, music, stories and interactive experiences.
How do I start without knowing the world?
Open the map and choose a landscape. Each realm presents its story in a few paragraphs, its guardian and its ambiences. The Guardian of Passages can also suggest a first stop.
How do I use Sonaë for a role-playing session?
In the Studio, choose the Harborya setting and the “RPG Tavern” composition. Adjust the rain, the fire and the music to your scene. The Studio is a sound backdrop; it does not handle game rules.
How do I play a full video?
Open an ambience from the catalogue and press Play. This loads YouTube. If the player is unavailable, use the link to the video on YouTube.
How do I save my compositions?
Name your composition in the Studio and choose “Keep”. It appears in your journal, where you can play it again or export it.
Is the journal synced across devices?
It stays in this browser. Use Export, then Import on another device to transfer your discoveries. Clearing the browser data also clears the journal.
Can I reduce the animations?
Yes. Open Preferences at the bottom of the page. You can reduce motion and turn on data-saving mode. Your device’s motion settings are respected too.
Can I buy the products in the shop?
The shop shows a collection in preparation and a test basket. There is no online payment for now. The Letter will let you know when it opens.
Can I use the videos in my own creations?
Listening to an ambience and obtaining the rights to reuse it are two different things. Contact Sam for a broadcast, licensing or collaboration project.
