The Cottage in the HillsFireplace Sounds for Deep Sleep

The fire crackles softly in the hearth, snow falls in silence against the windowpanes, and the wind settles behind closed shutters as evening deepens. This cottage rests at the heart of Medianor, the Hearth Hills, where the guardian Brasier watches over the Everlasting Ember, a flame with no source that recalls how a roof, a fire, and a friend are enough to make the world livable. It offers a quiet place to drift into sleep, to read by the fire, or to set the scene for a tabletop session when the characters finally seek rest.
