8h 2minEnchanted forest ambience
A forest changes with the hour: birds and a stream in the morning, wind in the canopy in the afternoon, crickets, owls and the crackle of a fire at night. Our forest ambiences follow those hours, in the ancient forest of Lumethys where the trees have grown a memory.
They are the most numerous ambiences in the library, and among the most played for focus as well as for sleep. Treehouses, mushroom glades, fairy clearings, cabins under the rain: every one of them is a place you could stay.

Forest by day, forest by night
The daytime forest (birds, stream, foliage) keeps the mind awake and calm: ideal for reading, writing or working. The night forest (crickets, an owl, a fire, rain on leaves) slows everything down: better for the evening and for sleep. Pick by what you are about to do, not by what looks prettiest.
Forest bathing, from home
The Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku is walking slowly through a forest while listening. A 4K forest ambience, screen on and volume medium, reproduces part of it: the eye rests on green, the ear on water and leaves, and the breath slows on its own.
In practice
- Day: birds and a stream, light music.
- Night: crickets, a fire, rain on leaves.
- Read the legend of Lumethys on the realm’s page.
Where these ambiences take place
Frequently asked questions
Which forest sound for focus?
A daytime forest with a stream and few birds, music low. Avoid dawn choruses, which are busy, and night forests, which make you sleepy.
Are there forest ambiences in the rain?
Yes, several: cabins and treehouses under the rain, with a fire inside. They are among the most played for sleep.
Where do these forests come from?
From Lumethys, the realm of the ancient trees, and from the borders of Rivelyn. Every ambience is an original scene of Sonaë, not a real location.
